Synopsis:
Millie Campbell is a sarcastic 32 year old with insecurities galore but is quite content with her life. She has her awesome best friend Esther, her gay best friend Jeremy, a steady day job and has finally found the man she wants to marry. However, along with Millie, you are chucked in at the deep end of her insecurities and heartache when Ben Harris, her perfect, handsome, fantastic between the sheets boyfriend comes clean about a secret he has been hiding.
After Ben reveals his true feelings to her about his new predilection, Millie is left to pick up the pieces of her shattered heart with help from her ever eager group of girlfriends. Of course the girls all have problems of their own, but together with alcohol, nibbles and their weekly catch-ups, they can conquer the world.
Buckle up as you follow Millie, Jeremy and Ben on their journey of heart breaks, holidays and self-discovery in the beautiful lagoon city that is Venice.

A.T. Hills is an independent author and self confessed bibliophile. A lover of reading anything that pulls at the heart strings or erotically charged, her natural progression saw the self published The Venetian Awakening, her debut novel, be released in November 2013. A married mother with two small children, she can usually be found juggling working full time, looking after her children and eating cake. Music is also a love of hers, and this is reflected in her writing.
